Project Details

This $18-million transportation depot was commissioned by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority to relieve congestion and improve general traffic conditions around the GWCC campus in downtown Atlanta. Gensler and Lux et Veritas developed a vibrant, dynamic lighting scheme as part of the broader initiative to activate the Andrew Young International Boulevard entry sequence. RGBW fixtures provide a variety of scenes and a unique experience for Congress Center visitors to enjoy. As a novelty, convention sponsors can request their corporate colors to displayed during their event making this a visual centerpoint for exiting visitors.
