Project Details

The $603 million, 16-story tower addition to Piedmont Hospital, located on “Cardiac Hill” at the intersection of Peachtree and Collier roads, houses over 400 patient beds, 10 operating rooms, a dozen individual labs, a glass-walled, light-filled open entrance lobby, and a multi-level landscape park entry. The Marcus Heart Valve Center, named after major donor and Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus, replaced the demolished Sheffield building and expanded hospital capacity with state-of-the-art facilities designed to accommodate a growing Buckhead & Atlanta metro area population.
